Santa Cruz is stirring things up in a big way. They now offer two levels of carbon frame. Their newest carbon frame offers the same stiffness and strength as their classic carbon frame but at a much smaller price tag. You can now get a FULL carbon Santa Cruz complete bike for $3399.99! They now also offer Rock Shox Pike fork options for the 5010 and the Bronson. Cane Creek Double Barrel Inline shocks are also an optional upgrade on the Bronson. Santa Cruz still has all of the top specs on their bikes from XTR to X01. Their new colors look great and their prices look even better!
We now have Kitsbow Mountain Bike Wear in stock at the shop. Come down and see it. Immediately you can tell that a lot of thought has been put into the design and construction of these pieces. Kitsbow is so confident in their clothing that they put a 30 day guarantee on all their pieces. They will also repair their clothing for a nominal fee in the event of a crash. Kitsbow will be in Kaysville on Saturday May 24. They will be offering shorts for demo during our Santa Cruz demo. Both vans will be up at the Kaysville Wilderness Park Trailhead from 10 am to 3 pm. After the demo you can see a showcase of the entire clothing line at Biker’s Egde while you sample some local food from Rooster’s Brewing Co. and scope the newest gear from Enve Composites. The party starts at 5 and ends …
At first glance the Garmin VIRB seems very similar to other HD video cameras available. They record in 1080p, have an available waterproof case, and mount to nearly everything. The VIRB does have a party trick that sets it apart, you can control the camera with your Garmin ANT+ enabled computer. This provides an awesome remote that you already carry. Then when you get into the editing room you can sync all of your recorded data, from the ride, to the exact moment it happened in the footage. So you can see what your heart rate is when you railed a berm or won that preem lap. We think that’s pretty cool. The VIRB retails for $299.
We want to remind everyone that Saturday May 24th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Santa Cruz Bicycles will be at the Kaysville Wilderness Park Trailhead with their demo van. Hit them up for a ride on a Bronson, 5010, new Nomad, Tallboy, or Tallboy LT. You can check a bike out for free but you will have to leave your credit card while you ride. Don’t forget to bring a helmet, pedals, and shoes. We are also pleased to announce that we are now your local Kitsbow Obsessive Retail Partner. These guys and gals make some mighty fine mountain bike wear out of some mighty fine materials. They obsess about all the details and they believe that everything can always be made better. That’s exactly what they have done. The quality and craftsmanship of their clothing is unparalleled in the mountain bike world. Their clothing is made to be …
